Mike Loehle is the founder of Loehle Aircraft and Aero Coatings Corporation. He got his start in aviation building parts for ultralights in the 1970s, and then progressed into manufacturing aircraft kits such as the 5151 Mustang and Sport Parasol.
Timeless Voices - Lou Stolp
Lou Stolp was an aircraft mechanic before serving as a B-17 tailgunner with the 429th Squadron of the 2nd Bomb Group during WWII. He later designed the Stolp Starduster, Starduster II, Starlet, V-Star, Super Starduster and AcroDuster II airplanes.

Clive Coote's family ran Ripmax, a leading r/c modeling distributor in the UK, for 54 years. Clive teamed with electric r/c aircraft designer Tian Yu to form Yuneec International Ltd. In 2009, Yuneec introduced the electric powered e430 airplane.

Carl Unger (1931-2013) designed and constructed the iconic Breezy prototype in 1964 with fellow corporate pilots Charley Roloff and Bob Liposky. For over 40 years, Carl flew the Breezy to air shows and other events, giving thousands of free rides.

Physicist Thomas Senkel is the designer of the E-Volo VC1 electric multicopter, a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that uses multiple electric powered rotors for lift, propulsion, and directional control. He flew the prototype on Oct. 21, 2011.
