Jeanie Blankenship joined the U.S. Navy in 1992 and was commissioned as a Naval Aviator in 1993. During her service she flew P-3 Orions with VP-9 and served as a T-34 instructor. Upon leaving the service in 2001 she joined U.S. Customs flying P-3s.
